Pomelo Casa X Unemployed Magazine
Unemployed Magazine approached us about doing a collaboration with them for a pop up they were putting together at Fred Segal in LA - they wanted something totally different new and exiting. So we began thinking about our ceramics, what made them unique and what we loved about them…the joyful colours, the handprinted designs and the traditional techniques - what if we were to keep everything the same but strip all the colour out of them, make them monochromatic. This was something that had never been done before (traditionally these ceramics are made in blue and green). We spent 6 months having samples made and finally landed on a limited edition of 50, with the traditional white backgrounds and a brand new version of the designs in black varnish, we hope you love them as much as we do!
